Life in Key West is, well, at it’s own pace. It seems that people do what the want when they want. Or is that the RV life? I mean, like us, people still work from their coaches and what have you, but it seems to be at a time of when they may choose to work. I am not sure if I can get used to that or not. (who am I kidding?)

We are already thinking of staying another 4 days or more as this is a very much needed get away. It seems that Brenda and I needed to decompress more than we thought. Getting away like this has allowed us to open our eyes to some things and also realize that life of being together is a wonderful thing.














I mean, nothing else seems to matter. Seeing some things we have seen, meeting some people we have met, it all is part of what thus far make us, well, us. And you know what? We like us.

Some of you may be asking about Tasha. Well she is doing very well and very much likes traveling. Brenda and I both agree that she has never seemed happier.














Well, that is it for now. And for those of you that are wondering how it is working on the road working out of a coach…I will leave you with a picture that more or less says it all…

I almost did not want to write this entry as we wanted to keep this place all to ourselves. :) But for our friends that are reading this, both that know us and those of you that we have never even met, if you RV, YOU NEED TO COME HERE!

We will give you a full update at a later time, but for now, we can say not only is the resort beautiful, but the staff is outstanding which you know can very much add to your stay.

The day has come that we make out last leg to the Bluewater Key RV Resort in the Florida Keys. Brenda and I have ben looking forward to this so much. To just get away, to what we have been told is just paradise.

Yesterday I had to put the final touches on the coach…Check out the saying we have chosen. For those that do not know, the first part, “To Boldly Go…” is a Star Trek reference. The second part is just us. After all, we have a house on wheels. ;) And yes, I have the Star Trek There horn to go with it.

Seeing that the new Star Trek movie comes out soon, we laughed at what it would be like to pull up in to a theater with the coach with the words on the back and just blow the horn. (Of course as the movie lets out.)

Ok, 20 mins or so and I think we are moving on. Should be a great trip day for images on the web cam when we get to Largo and beyond.

As you can see, Tasha has really taken to RVing. She loves to stand up and look out the big windshield as we get moving, drooling all over the dashboard, of course this is after David just cleaned it. However, being 13 years old and having arthritis, she doesn’t stay up front for long. You can usually find her on her bed with her eyes closed and head bopping up and down with the rhythm of the road. Yup, I said eyes closed. I did not mean to say sleeping. It’s very difficult for her to sleep while we are driving because every bump in the road or bridge we cross wakes her up. Poor thing. Anyway, she loves every minute of it. And from the photo, you can see David does too.
