Tasha Update

Posted on September 30th, 2009 by David

Well it seems that Tasha has a inner ear infection and thus she could not keep her balance. She got better throughout the morning and the vet treated her but it may be slow going. Right now she really just does not care to move a lot as she is very tired, and so are we.

Another issue is now she can not seem to hear at all after going to the vet with the treatment. But I guess this is expected with the drops put in and her advanced age to begin with. Here is a video showing what I mean…

So we will just continue to work with her and see what becomes of this. But at least at this time she is able to walk again even though she stumbles.

In Elkhart, Tasha not well.

Well we are not sure what is wrong at this point, but we were awoke at 3:30AM to a thud. And then another, and then another. We jumped up and found Tasha was not able to walk. She would try and then just fall. When she went to bed, all was fine thus this is very strange.

We got her out to the living room area and gave her a dog pain pill for her arthritis. We stayed up a about 1.5 hours and then moved her back into the bed room. This morning she is walking on her own, but not like before. It is like she is not stable at all. We are going to find a vet this morning after the RV is taken in. Will keep you posted.

Heading out to Elkhart, IN

Posted on September 29th, 2009 by David

Well we are back on the road for just a quick trip to Elkhart, IN again. This time not for repairs or anything like that. (FEW!) We are heading out to make some upgrades to the coach. We will be adding in Mor/Ryde slide out cargo trays and SMI AirForceOne breaking system for our Saturn Outlook.

If all plans go well, we will be at Mor/Ryde on Thursday and MasterTech RV for on Friday. We may also be stopping in at Gulf Stream to say hello and to see about getting a two pantry doors to make the pantry more easy to use. It currently has a slide out pantry, but their is a lot of waisted space in the area it is in. Adding two doors and replacing the slide out rack with standard shelfs would add a lot of dry food room.

Well, we are off. Time to go pull the coach out and hook up the Outlook. Of course it is windy and raining. Oh, did I mention 51 degrees? (Never fails.)
