Our Motor Home

Our Motor Home

It’s Daylight Savings Time again?  Didn’t we just do this?  I guess time really does fly.

We hope you are adjusting well to the hour of lost sleep.  It’s always difficult this time of year.  Funny how their’s never any complaining in the fall when we set our clocks back an hour and catch up on sleep.

We actually got hit with a double whammy.  We had to move our clocks ahead for Daylight Savings Time on Saturday night, like most of the rest of the country, before we went to bed. Then on Sunday we drove into Amarillo, TX, from New Mexico, where we’ll be staying for the week.  So our double whammy?  Well, Texas is in Central Standard Time.  So we had to set our clocks forward another hour.

So really, we lost two hours.  The only saving grace is that we don’t have to set an alarm clock to get up for a 9-5 job.  So we can catch up with our sleep.  No, I’m not complaining.  And I’m certainly not rubbing it in that we don’t have alarm clocks waking us up every morning.

I just wanted to make mention of this and gain your sympathy.  Don’t you feel sorry for us now?
