Goshen, Indiana Countryside

So we’re here in Goshen, Indiana at an rv rally at the fairgrounds.  We arrived yesterday to dark cloudy skies that opened up into a downpour.  Of course.  However, it only rained for about an hour.  Then it cleared right up and the sun came out again.  Thank goodness our air conditioners are in top shape and working properly.  It Is HUMID!  It’s in the mid 80’s, sun shine and blue skies.  However, the humidity makes it feel like your swimming outside.  You open your door to go out and it hits you like a ton of bricks.  I don’t know how the Amish do it around here without air conditioning.

On my walk this morning, armed with my camera, cell phone and water, I saw some lovely countryside.  The farmers were out plowing there fields.  Kids were jumping on trampolines.  People’s gardens were in full bloom.  Just lovely.  Except for the soupy humid weather.  And this was at 10 o’clock in the morning.

Here are some pictures I took along the way. I came across this neat farm that seemed to have what I can only imagine is a family cemetery. That was interesting. I also had a cute horse follow me along his fence line. He seemed to want his picture taken so I obliged him.

We’ve been to this area before so we haven’t really seen anything out of the ordinary. We’ll keep our eyes open though.
