So the FMCA Rally has wrapped up.
David did some more flying around our last day of the rally.
We found a covered bridge on the fairgrounds property and shot some great footage.
At the rally David got some lettering to add to the back of the coach that reads “OutsideOurBubble.com”.
That way anyone that see’s us can easily follow along on our journeys.
I think he did a wonderful job getting everything centered and lined up. He put on the “To Boldly Go…” lettering a few years back and I think this makes a nice addition. Not to crowded.
Now we have moved on to a campground not to far away. Just 17 miles south to be exact. On the south side of Indianapolis. Awaiting our next trade show, CEDIA which starts tomorrow.
We really haven’t been doing much of anything but resting and relaxing.
BK likes taking full advantage of the sunny window. Whisper is sleeping in the bed in the window, so BK had to adjust. This is where he ended up. Too funny. He really can make himself at home anywhere.
It’s amazing how dry everything has gotten around here. I showed you the dried and dead corn fields in a previous post. But now you can see another example of how this drought has effected this area.
This is the pond at the Lake Haven Retreat Campground that we are staying at. The pipe you see to the left of the picture should be under the waterline! The water is that low. We’ve stayed here in the past and we’ve never seen it this bad.
We have had some beautiful sunsets though.
As I’m typing this it looks like a storm is about to hit us. Hopefully it will drop some of this humidity down. It’s been stifling outside. Enough that it’s not comfortable to sit outside for to long. So we’ve been hibernating inside most of the time in the air conditioning.
When we leave here early next week we’re thinking of heading up to Michigan. We’ve never been there so any pointers, places of interest, or places to avoid would be greatly appreciated.
Traverse city…. Soooo pretty an so much to do there!!……….we r in the nomad camper next to you right now at lake haven!! Come say hi! I would love to meet ur animals!! :)
