David & Brenda Taking In The Scenery In Acadia National Park

David & Brenda Taking In The Scenery In Acadia National Park

When I think of Maine I think of giant rocky cliffs and boulders along the seashore and light houses.  Actually I think the word boulder does not describe them best at all.  They are the entire mountain side, made of granite and they are all along the shore line in Acadia National Park.  There is a hiking path that allows you to explore these giant beasts and walk all over them.  Pretty cool.

We of course took way too many pictures.  Thank goodness for digital! The pictures really don’t do this place justice.  I’ll just let the pictures do the rest of the talking.  Sorry there are so many.  I couldn’t decide, they all are so beautiful!  To view them larger, just click on them.
