So, we are almost out of here. Friday we head out of here and start our trek to Red Bay, Alabama to watch our new motorhome be built by Tiffin. This is the longest we’ve stayed parked in one spot. We’ve been here at the RV Ranch in Keene, TX since before Thanksgiving. On one hand it seems like we’ve been here a long long time. On the other it seems that time has just flown by.
Lately we’ve had some lovely weather. Weather that makes you think that Spring is not far off.
Weather that makes you get the grill out and cook burgers and eat outside.
Weather that gets us out and flying the quadcopter. David’s been itching to try this new flight controller that uses the iPad. Their’s this new hardware he put on the quadcopter that makes it so you can plot a course using Google maps on the iPad and the quadcopter will take off, follow that exact course and land all by itself. We had a great day to go out and try this new tech and it worked like a charm.
While out shopping one day I took the opportunity to take a couple of pictures of the murals around town. As you can see they are in a parking lot, so not the best pictures but you get the idea.
So their you have it. We haven’t really done anything terribly exciting. We’ve had more colder days than not. So not the type of weather we’ve really wanted to go and exploring with.
We’re really looking forward to our new coach and watching the whole build process. We, of course, will be blogging about it and taking lots of pictures. It hits the production line on January 31st!
So stay tuned for that!
Those murals were wonderful. Hope the build goes well for you.
