Yesterday we spent the day with Robert and Trish geocaching around the area. They are veteran geocachers with over 2000 finds! We’ll get their some day. As Trish said, you have to start from somewhere.
We had a lovely day of upper 60 degrees, blue sky and a nice breeze. It made for a nice walk along the shore. Coronado has a ton of biking and walking trails all over the place. So getting around here is pretty easy.
We found a beautiful fountain by a community playhouse.
Caching also took us to some nice overlooks along the walking paths.
There are also some really interesting plants and flowers. Everything around here is nicely landscaped.
And I can’t forget about the Pacific Ocean. It was a wonderful day to be out. Their were people jogging on the beach and a couple tossing a stick into the water for their two golden retrievers to fetch. They loved fetching. But make sure you don’t wander too far on the beach. Their was a military guard in a life guard station warning you not to pass a certain point. That’s because beyond that point is for military personnel only. That’s something you don’t see everyday while at the beach. Sorry to say I didn’t get a picture of him in the guard post. However I did manage to get David enjoying the view.

When we got back from our outing with Robert and Trish we were tired. They however went out to search for more caches. We enjoyed the evening, just the two of us. We sat out and watched the tide come in. Took a walk on the beach. Then sat and talked while drinking coffee. It was a perfect end to a nice day.
oops…put my comments on the wrong page…LOL…gues I will just say “Ditto” here!
Love yas….xoxoxo
Hey David & Brenda, looks like you have a very nice spot on the beach. That area of So California is beautiful. We have never done the geocaching although I have read about a lot of people having fun doing it. Maybe I will have to talk to Trish next time we see them at a Sierra Ramblers rally.
Enjoy your stay and safe travels when you move on down the road. I bet you are happy you are not in upper NY right now with all the storms.
