Shelburne Falls is a quaint little town located in the Birkshire Mountains in Massachusetts. This was the next town over from where we went zip lining. So we decided to check it out. Shelburne Falls is known for the Ancient Glacier Pot Holes and the Bridge of Flowers. I will touch more on the Bridge of Flowers in our next post.
As you can surmise from the sign, the Pot Holes are a natural wonder that were formed during the Glacier Age. The falls in Shelburne Falls cascade onto huge granite boulders that are pitted with these huge record breaking and not so huge, pot holes.
The town of Shelburne Falls is filled with quite a few art galleries, a yoga studio and a couple coffee shops. A cute little town if you find yourself in the area. Not much of a town to go out of your way to see.
