Just wanted to say that we are sorry for the delay in doing our ending video with a walk through of the new Tiffin Allegro Bus 45LP and thoughts on the overall experience being at Tiffin for the build.
We have been trying to get settled into our new home and we did happen to run into a few issues that we needed to come back to Red Bay to the Tiffin Service Center. We knew we would be back here, just did not think we would be right back after we took delivery of the coach. But they are working through it and we hope to be able to get back to a normal sense of life soon.
As soon as we get though this all and are feeling good about the coach and how we have it set up, we will do our conclusion video. So again, we are sorry for the delay and we thank you for all the emails and notes asking if we are OK regarding both with the coach and ourselves. We are for the most part. :)
We hope soon that we will be back to the safe travels we were wished when we started.
Some things never change with Tiffin. Spending lots of time in Red Bay is one of those things. I did it for years until I finally gave up and went with another brand coach. So glad I did.
Hang in there – you’re almost to the finish line! So frustrating to be sooo close to getting on your way. Fingers crossed for you!
Dave, I have been following your blog for a while. What problems are you having with the new coach? Seems you have been in Red Bay a long time.
This is peek time for Red Bay work so it takes time to get in to get work done etc. So being here for a number of weeks this time of year is, well, normal. We had some some items that needed to be reworked and we had a few engine issues that came up that we offered to have the team here look at as we will be using some prototype parts for future development. (Fan clutch and fan design.) But we needed like bay door alinements, a few area for some wood work etc. Yes, our dealer, Davis Motorhome, could have handled it, but we knew we were coming back here anyway and thus figured it would work out better.
