Monica’s Chocolate’s Arrived Today!
Wow! I should get sick more often. I’m just starting to get over a cold that turned into a sinus and ear infection. I’ve been miserable for almost two weeks now. David has been great. The other day when he went out to pick up dinner, he brought home some roses to make me feel better.
The flowers were totally unexpected and appreciated. However today, in the mail, came a box that he said was for me. Quite a large box mind you. Having no idea what was in there, I tore it open.
WHAT! Monica’s Chocolates! All the way from Lubec, Maine?!? This brings back memories from our trip to Maine this past September. What a wonderful and thoughtful husband I have. I can’t believe he ordered Monica’s Chocolates just to make me feel better. As you can see from the pictures, there’s a lot of chocolate. So I think I will share some with him. After all, he has been putting up my coughing and sniffling just as much as I have.
Thank goodness I have my sense of smell back. It would be a tragedy if I couldn’t taste the chocolates.
