An Overlook Between Halifax And North Sydney Harbor

An Overlook Between Halifax And North Sydney Harbor

When we left Halifax for the ferry we came across this overlook.  Couldn’t tell you where it was.  Somewhere in between Halifax and the Port at North Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Little did we know we would be passing over this bridge.

Once we made it to the campground for the night, we went exploring the little town.  When I mean little town, I mean it doesn’t even have a grocery store.  Just a convenience store, couple gas stations and one fried chicken shack.

Yup…I said fried chicken.  David and I decided to try the fried chicken and we were pleasantly surprised.  When the people at the campground said it was the best fried chicken in town we kind of chuckled.  Driving around town, it’s the ONLY fried chicken place in town.  And we love the name.

Lick-A-Chick.

How could you not laugh when you see that name?  Next door is also the Lick-A-Treat.  No doubt owned by the same people. Too funny.
